Setting Up Mail On Iphone

1. Select Settings from your iPhone home menu
2. Select  Mail
3. Select Add Account
4. Select Other
5. Select Add Mail Account
6. Select IMAP > Refer to the INCOMING / OUTGOING SETTINGS below depending on which system you are on. You need to complete all fields.

 

INCOMING SETTINGS:
• Host Name – mail.yourdomain.com.au
• Username – Email Address
• Password – Your Password

 

OUTGOING SETTINGS:
• Host Name – mail.yourdomain.com.au
• Username – Email Address
• Password – Your Password

 

 

7. When attempting to verify you will receive the message “Cannot Connect Using SSL – Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?” Select YES. After 1-2 minutes you will receive the exact same message, Select YES again. After the 2nd time you will get all check marks.

8. Mail should be set to ON

9. Congratulations you have successfully setup your mailbox to use IMAP on your iPhone.

Port Settings

Incoming – IMAP: Port 143, POP3: Port 110

Outgoing – SMTP: Port 26

 

Microsoft Outlook / Outlook: Express

Display Name: Your Name
Email Address: Your Email
Incoming Mail Server Type: POP3 or IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Account Name: Your Email
Password: E-mail account’s password
Please also make sure that you have checked “My server requires authentication” under servers tab.

 

Netscape Email

Your Name: Your Name
Email Address: Your Email
Reply to address: Your Email (you can leave this blank)
Organization: Your Company / Organization Name
Server Name: mail.yourdomain.com
Server Type: POP3 or IMAP
Username: Your Email
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Outgoing mail server username: Your Email
